Well the this was one heck of an experience! First the Bust Brakes down... lol then on to our best performance of ALL TIME! This performance was for the seniors, we competed our hearts out, and did an AMAZING show! Congrats to Ben Larson... when I think of him I think... 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9... yep 9 seconds hehe. Thanks to Esser and Kember for a great season for this was our last competition.

Going to Emmetsburg this weekend was a great experience. The setting was different from the places we usually performed. This will really give us the heads up for this upcoming weekend at CR Jefferson. Okay, well here we go. Again Grand Central Station comes out on top ALONG with La Crosse Central "Central Connections" who also showed their excellence as a prep group. "Central Connections" went in their hoping to do well in their own division, it was a dream come true placing 4th Runner Up in the Finals of that night. This was the first Finals that Connections has performed in since their existence which began 5 years ago. Congratulations to BOTH groups, it was definitely a great weekend to be a part of the Central Music Program. This was our 8th Grand Championship in a row, and the band pulled off another display of excellence winning the only real caption award that was awarded, Best Combo. Here are the FULL results.

Again GCS competes, this time at the Logan Invitational right across town! We were defending our Grand Championship, and the quality of groups was great! Grand Central Station came out on top again not just winning, but SWEEPING the invitational, Congrats also to BEN LARSON for winning Best Male Soloist.

Invitational. We went up against some tough groups, and again came out Grand Champions. I will put pictures up soon so check back for that! Here are the final results:

1st... The 15th annual Onalaska Classic was this past weekend. We have won it 4 out of the past 5 years... and chalk up number 5 baby!! Whooo!! That's right, La Crosse Central "GCS" took Grand Champions, Best Vocals, and Best Combo, to win over a very worthy line up of groups. The final results were as follows.

1st Runner Up: Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
2nd Runner Up: Buffalo Grove "Expressions"
3rd Runner Up: Ft. Atkinson "South High Street Singers"
4th Runner Up: Cedar Rapids Jefferson "Westside Delegation"
5th Runner Up: Decatur Eisenhower "Elite Energy"

Best Choreography: Mt. Zion
Best Combo: La Crosse Central

This means were up to 5 Grand Championships in a Row, and 6 Best bands in a Row! Let's Keep it up! All the Hard work and determination is going to pay off. Stay Focused!
