I dedicate this poem to the
most wonderful mom in the world, my mom, Debbie
Gonser. I will never forget the day we sat in the
doctor's office as they told us she had a Brain
Tumor, that it was encompassing the majority of
the 4th Ventricle and sitting on the Brain Stem.
In April 1999, our life took a complete change. I
have watched my mom fight many days with unending
pain, and yet she was always wondering if someone
else was ok or if someone else needed something.
Even tho each day my mom is living with a Brain
Tumor, she tries to enjoy life, always putting
God's business first, taking very good care of
me........and always reaching out to others.
I hope that I can set the
example before others as my mom has set for many.
She always taught me this scripture;
"I can do
all things through Christ which strengtheneth
me."
Philippians 4:13
Around the Gonser home we
stand on that scripture. I love my mom with all
my heart, and she has taught me God will make
this trial a blessing, and she's a winner either
way if she goes or if she stays! I know my mom is
going to win........
