Raw Kallaj ( Deserts / Arabic )
2 slices Kallaj dough
1/4 cup icing sugar
1 + 1.5 cups full cream milk
1 tbsp rose water
1 tbsp orange blossom water
1 can of 170g milk cream
1/4 cup ground pistachio for garnishing
2 tbsp cane sugar syrup
1 tbsp sifted plain flour

Mix 1.5 cups of milk with flour. Place mixture on medium heat while stirring. When it boils, simmer for five minutes, pour into a separate dish and allow it to cool. Mix cream with prepared mixture to make it ready to use. Cut Kallaj dough slices into triangular shapes. Dissolve sugar in 1 cup milk and add rose and orange water. Soften the Kallaj triangles in milk. Don't let it get soggy. Spoon cream mixture into the middle of each triangle. Seal triangles Place Kallaj triangles in a serving dish and garnish with ground pistachios. Serve drizzled with syrup.
