1 kg potatoes
salt to taste
pepper to taste
few finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp cumin powder
6 hard boiled eggs
1 raw egg
semolina to coat the chops
oil for frying

Potaoto Egg Chops ( Goan )


    Boil the potatoes well and mash them thoroughly. Add salt, pepper, chopped coriander, jeera powder to the mashed potatoes. Mix and keep aside. Remove shells from the eggs and cut into half. Take a small portion of the mashed potatoes in your hand and flatten it. Place an egg half on it and cover the egg fully. Repeat the same for the rest of the egss. You can shape the chops as you like. Beat the raw egg well. Dip each chop into it and than roll in the semolina and coat it completely and fry well in oil. Serve hot.
