Mud Pie ( Desserts / Tea-Coffee-Time Recipes )
18 chocolate cookies, finely crushed
3 tbsp margarine
1 litre choclate ripple ice cream
1 cup hot fudge sauce, cooled
1/4 cup chopped almonds
sweetened whipped cream

Mix crushed cookes and margarine well and line a pie plate (bottom & sides)with it. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Spread the ice cream evenly on the crust. Freeze until firm (about 3 hours). Spread fudge sauce and sprinkle almonds. Freeze for another 4 hours. Remove fro feezer about ten minutes before serving. Top with sweetened whipped cream. Imediately freeze any remaining pie.
