Fried Qatayef ( Desserts / Arabic )
1 can 170g honey flavoured cream
1 cups milk (prepared from powdered milk)
2 tbsp plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
3 cups frying oil
1 cup cane sugar syrup ground pistachios for garnishing
salt to taste

Add enough water and salt to the self raising flour and knead well to form a soft dough. Divide into six portions and roll out round and flat. Keep aside. Mix milk with plain flour. Place mixture on medium heat while stirring. When it boils, simmer for 5 minutes, pour into a separate dish and allow it to cool. Mix cream with the prepared mixture. Add cooked cream in the centre of the rolled out dough. Fold and seal firmly by applying a little water. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drizzle sugar syrup and garnish with ground pistachios.
