Chicken Almond Soup ( Chicken / Soups )

1 cup blanched almonds
1 cup milk
1 chicken breast
4 cups water
1 leveled tsp pepper
pinch of cardamom powder
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp flour
1 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt

Liquidize almonds in milk and keep aside. Cut chicken into cubes and braise them with the spices and onion in ghee. When the onions are browned, add water and cook till meat is tender. Cool and blend till pureed. return puree to the pot and simmer. Braise flour in oil adding few drops of water at a time to form a thin smooth paste. Add to the simmering soup. Add almond milk and bring to a boil. Serve immediately with toasted bread.
