Barley And Lamb Broth ( Lamb / Soups )

500 g lamb bones
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, pressed
2 litres water
50 g pearl barley
1 leek, thinly sliced
1 carrot, sliced into rings
1 turnip, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 red chilli

Brown bone in hot oil together with garlic. Add water and barley and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for an hour. Add vegetables and chilli and cook for further 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
