The Review
It's a powerful thought. The elderly loosing their very dignity. To Klingons it is a fearful thought, when so many are dying with courae in the war, the thought of dying with dishonor is frightening.
A classic? Nearly. But there's just one thing missing from this story that would make it just great that went away with a foul smell, the ending. It was much too choppy for my taste. Kor deserved a bigger going out than just, "He's gone, let's sing, and then forget it ever happened." A last scene (heck, we don't even have to see most of the battle) where Kor get's in a last line, or maybe we even hear his last words, would ahve been amazingly powerful. Too bad.

When the infamous Kor comes to Worf seeking a military command, Worf pledges he will help. Only then does he discover the other side to Kor.
I like Klingon stories, and who could not? The Klingons are such a proud a militaristic race, there's just simply so much to work with. The Klingons are so enjoyable to watch in depth that it's always a good mouthful. John Colicos' final performance here was inspiring and I found it enjoyable. Kor is an old man who simply beginning to face the fact his mind is not all that good, and it's occured to him he must do something to die honorably. This is what tears at Worf the entire episode, whether or not to grant him the right to die with honor.
