I liked the end as well. Emotion was challenged to a Vulcan. I thought it was corny, but the rest of the episode was too good to be spoiled here, so we'll forget and not tell.

When an old Vulcan "friend" from Sisko's academy days comes by the station for repairs, Captain Sisko challenges him in a game of Baseball between their senior staffs.
Even though it's been used before, Baseball was a beautiful play. I loved this episode. The emotion was a good old-fashioned grudge...with a Vulcan. Jerry Springer anyone? It was meant to be funny, but in all honesty I think the writers tried too hard in this area. Even if they were new to this game..come on.. no one can play that bad. :-Þ This does raise continuity questions, such as why the staffs would be taking two weeks off to play a game, but who knows, the war seems to go in humps. Bloodbath one week, scratches the next.
