The Review
Good solid episode. Not without flaws, but it manages to get the story across and not leave open too many loose ends. Far from being a classic or an episode even worth remembering, but it was not a complete waste of time. Ezri again got an episode based around her, I can't say I enjoy the character but I realise the importance of using her for developement.

The Orion syndicate did not serve a big purpose, it seemed the only reason they were even mentioned was to keep the audience's attention long enough to the end. Things moved slowly, and I felt I would have appreciated a little less mystique and more grand scale. The Dominion War is raging on, and while this show's prequel, "Honour Amoung Thieves" introduced the Klingon troubles, here the grand scheme was absent. We know the Orion Syndicate is involved in the war, and while this story is ok without the war, I am reminded this is the final season. Less than fifteen episodes to go..

I thought the ending was a little predictable, but definitely powerful. Norvo was an exciting part of this story, but I'm saddened that the writer's did things so predictable. This is one area it was lacking.

The heartbreak on the family was not real, either. I was seeing, but I could not believe it. In my honest opinion I believe the actors were not entirely sure how to do this, as things became awkward torward the end.
