StarTrek.com has continued their series of Q&A sessions, this week featuring Voyager Production Designer Richard James. In the interview he addresses a variety of topics, which you can read by going here.

And also a new interview with actor Levar Burton taken from the November issue of Star Trek: The Magazine has been posted at Voyager's Delights. Here's a brief excerpt:

LeVar's real satisfaction has come from his progression into directing. He made his debut during the sixth season of TNG, when he took the helm of 'Second Chances,' following up in the final year with 'The Pegasus.' He says, "No one in their right mind wants to take on the job unless they really have a desire to; it's not something that you walk into 1ightiy" It had, however, been a long-standing ambition after his early acting success. "Directing was the next challenge for me, in terms of achieving my goal of really becoming a filmmaker, really putting myself in a position to be able to develop and tell stories that reflect a very specific vision - one that is my own.

"I feel that the 20-something years of an acting career that I've had has really been about putting me in a place where I could learn the other two aspects to my job, the producer and the director, and that of a writer as well. So that was an important step, and having 'STAR TREK university' and the support of Rick Berman and the rest of the company, in terms of helping me develop those skills and talents as a director, was really critical."
