While heading over to the Democratic National Convention the other night, Kate Mulgrew did a brief stop with CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn." In her brief few minutes on the show, Mulgrew may have subtly revealed several important details about Voyager. The following from SyFy World:

When asked by Kilborn on how she wanted her character to say good-bye, Mulgrew said "I can tell you exactly. Now, I may stand alone in this, and I'm sure it's going to be controversial. I think it should be poignant.

"I think it should be stunning, unpredictable, heartbreaking. The audience should gasp, but it should be the last frame of the last episode. An extreme close-up of a beloved character ... out."

When Kilborn began assuming that the Janeway character was going to die, Mulgrew responded that she was told "not to speak of this, as you can see, I'm the biggest blabbermouth in Hollywood."

Mulgrew also joked (?) that Voyager would be going up in flames, and that all the crew members would be seen running to the escape pods.

It's a surprise move, but considering everything these might only be half truths. At the moment things are uncertain. MediaTrek has posted the entire interview into a downloadable format. You can get it here. (7.1 MB) And Totally Kate! has also placed a full transcript of the event up for viewing as well.
