Collie Open

Bmx on Friday night
At the Wanneroo track
Racing Collie on Saturday
On Sunday we’ll be back

Collie is a heap of fun
The riders love the pace
Always heaps of riders
Compete in every race

Collie Open-Day is over
Trophies all been won
Off to Bunbury we go
For another day of fun

Now the weekends finished
All the races won
Back to Perth we’ll travel
Before the day is done

Bikes scattered on the ground
Riders gearing up to race
All are hoping for 1st Place

Parents anxious, biting nails
watching as a rider sails
Over jumps and round the berms
Others waiting for their turns

Racing's what it's all about
Now and then you here a shout
Son, You've gotto peddle faster
Spinning's what you have to master

See the Sprockets at their best
Older riders put to the test
All striving for that No 1
Some remembering to have fun
