Isaiah HILES b Holland, came to America ca mid 1700s and settled in the area that was known as the 'New Jersey Colony'. There were 7 or 8 children. Some of his children are: John who married Sarah CRISPIN Christian Isaiah, the youngest son (of 7 or 8 children) b ca 1790 d 24 Jul 1869 Dayton, Ohio
Isaiah married 01 Jan 1815, Hester THOMAS b 20 Oct 1795 New Jersey d 20 Mar 1890 Their children are:
Mary Ann b 22 Aug 1815 Elizabeth Ann b 11 Aug 1816 New Jersey Nancy b 1818 New Jersey (married James COOK) Hannah b 1819 New Jersey (married Daniel COOK) Phoebe b 25 Dec 1821 Ohio (married James BRACELIN) Sarah Jane b 1821 Ohio Martha (married William CRAIG) Christian (married in Cincinatti, Ohio to John KNOWLES) Rachel (married Isaiah OWENS) Isaac b ca 1826 (a soldier in the Union Army in the War of the Rebellion) He became afflicted with palsy because of his army life and died at the Soldier's Home at Dayton, Ohio.

Joseph Stewart died 7 May 1946 and Brunetta died 1 Jan 1956 They are buried along with their children Elizabeth, William, William's wife Ina and Ina's second husband in the Cowlitz View Cemetery in Kelso, WA
