This stack is one of my latest, made in Dec 09 did not work

Same stack

Same again

This is my latest stack, controls amperage but does not develop any pressure.

Same gain, showing the plate arrangement. Pos NNNNN Neg 8 mm gap Pos NNNNN Neg

Same again Jan.10. 2010

This is my last plate stack, two gangs of seven plates.
Neg nnnnn Pos, tried with the strong caustic mix it worked very well.
The plate gap was .075 inches ( or nearly 2 mm )
The nuts provided a gap between gangs, of .320 inches ( 8 mm )
The current draw was 106 amps, it was making more bubbles than I have ever seen.

HOD Test very strong caustic solution 15th Jan 2010

Test number Two

Watch Video

Plate assembly with .150 inch ( close to 4 mm ) Pos nnnn Neg  Ho gas less than test number one, still drawing 160 amp

Test number Three

Watch Video

Same gap, five neutral plates.130 amps. Gas about the same as test number two.

Test number four

Six neutral plates, same gap.

Watch Video

Less bubbles, battery fully charged. Draw 160 amps, unable to continue test as do not have anything capable of putting out 160 amps.

Position has not changed, what I need is a device to control amps.

First test using digital DC welder, disappointing the voltage across the HOD terminals was only 2 volts at 100 amps.

2 volts only, same stack as one below.

Watch Video

Test using standard AC welder with rectifier, still only 2 volts, 140 amps. Will have to do research, the welding voltage is supposed to be around 50 volts.

This is the two gang stack. Pos nnnnn Neg 8 mm gap Pos nnnnn Neg.
