Crashing onto the scene with a style all his own, Bounty-9 did turn some heads, in the beginning. Gaining some respect as a new poster that few others gain in such a short time. Bounty~9 joined The Monkeys. But, his need for revenge on the TDT damaged his standing and, in short, led to his ignominious dismissal from said group. Never seeming to understand that the Monkeys and the TDT were on good terms.
But, his momentum carried him through.
He was invited to be a charter member of that intrepid group of roustabouts known as The Unknown. A group "bent" on nothing but the ardent pursuit of a good time. His time there was good, for a bit. But his need to be "the best" proved to be his down fall. After an unfortunate netcopping incident, Bounty attempted to return TheBigBillbosky from TOS limbo to no avail. And, even tho his attempts were stymied by the fact that it is just not possible, Bounty insisted that he had done so. Despite the fact that Billbosky could not return short of purchasing a new web.
When the fact of the netcopping came to light in the NG's, Bounty went into a rage. Cursing at fellow members in E-mail and claiming that they would all "look like fucking assholes" if they did not wait for him to call the shots, He then quit in a huff when confronted with his own lack of respect toward other group members.
Even at that point, Bounty may have been alright, but his fragile ego could not withstand the blow. Running through Zero-Hour chat and on the telephone Bounty cried on any shoulder that would bear it. Pleading his "case" and crying foul at every turn.
Bounty then decided to utilize the Password given him by The Unknown to erase their home page. Then cried when a member of the Unknown "drew first blood"(<~~Heh) the very next day.
Bounty then went on a spree of posting any E-mail he had received while still a member of the Unknown. But later, cried foul when he received a letter sent by an Unknown member that didn't view him in the best of light.
He then went on a rampage. Crying almost daily
about The Unknown and being mostly ignored for more then two months. Making bogus claims and lieing through his teeth, Bounty gained the support of Calypso who went on to make a fool of herself in the unknown ng on his behalf. Bounty then turned a cold
shoulder the web death of Calypso, (a death his lies had caused) and went on to his next target,
Gaining the support of Fancy and the dubious support of the KTD, Bounty-9 continued his vendetta along the same bogus lines as before. Crying and complaining became his hallmark.
Finally, Bounty placed the last nail in his coffin by turning on Fancy and The Huntress.
Fancy , because she had talked with "the enemy". And Huntress because she had the "audacity" to disagree with him on a subject, Showing himself to be exactly what he is. And destroying any belief that anyone had in his stories.
I have seen a few poster become "web dead" in the past. But none as throughly as Bounty~9.
Who is, even as we speak, attempting to build a new nic in a little used club NG.
