Here goes then... I've been playing guitar for about 7 years now and i'm still crap! When I first started learning I taught myself every Oasis song that was out at the time. From this me and a few friends formed a band called Illusion. We played a few gigs around Middlesbrough and 1 in Newcastle but nothing major. After Illusion split I started looking for a new band but couldn't find anyone daft enough to take me!, until.. The F. I knew Ste and Paul a bit fromschool but had never really talked to them much until the played a gig at the pub I used to work at the Ayresome!! I got talking to Paul (lazy D!) after the gig and he was asking for a job in the pub, so I said I'd try and sort one out if he put me forward as a second guitarist for the band! He agreed and a few weeks later he started working at the oub and told me that the band did want a second guitarist.

That was a few weeks before Christmas last year. The next time he mentioned the band to me was after New Year when he said that Dave had left and told me to come to a practise. This was the only practise before I went into hospital for an operation and so I didn't really become a full member of the band till February this year.

Since joining the band I think I have improved slightly as a guitarist but if I got my finger out and practised a bit more I'm sure I could do better. I've had a role in the re-writing of several F songs since joining and I will write at least one of my own eventually!
