Ok, my name's Jacinta Mathews, I live in Parkwood, Perth, WA, Australia, and I go to Lynwood SHS.
I have liked Taxiride since 'Get Set', and I have met them three times.
First time was September 28 (day before my birthday) and they were at the Perth Royal Show doing an interview with PMFM 92.9 (they were broadcasting from the show). They did a competition where people from the audience had to get up and sing the chorus of 'Get Set' and if you sang the best you got to go on a rollercoaster with the guys. After that Tim, Tim, and Jason went to go and ride on the rollercoaster with the winner, and muck around in sideshow alley, and left Dan all by himself! He gave some excuse why he wouldn't go on the rollercoaster, but I reckon he was chicken (can't blame him, though, I hate the things). I had my 'Get Set' single with me, and I'd already got Tim Wild and Jason to sign it, so I got Daniel to sign it. Actually getting his attention was hard enough! I was standing over one side of the 'stage' thing, next to a speaker, and he was sitting on the couch over the other side of the state, next to the OTHER speaker! So I just ended up yelling, 'Dan. Daniel. DANIEL!!!'. He just looked over and smiled and did a little wave, and then I yelled 'DAN!' again and he came over, and he signed the CD, and when he gave it back, he said 'Thanks for buying the record.' which I thought was really nice, cause not many people say that!
Second time was September 29 (my birthday!) and they were doing a small concert and a signing in the Murray St Mall in the city. They sang Get Set, Everywhere You Go, and Nothing In This World. Tim Watson was complaining cause he'd left his sunnies in Melbourne, and it was one of the sunniest days in Perth that I'd seen for a long time! So Jase said, "Nah, look at all the sunnies out there!' pointing to the crowd, and then they started 'sunnies shopping'. "Like those ones! Nah, don't like them. Hey they're nice!'. Then they sat down to sign CD's in their normal order (Tim Watson, Jase, Tim Wild, Dan). When I went to take a photo of Tim Watson, he said 'You have to tell me when you're gonna take it, so I don't squint' and I said '1, 2, 3, don't squint!' and he ended up being all red-eyed in the photo anyway! I went to take a pic of Tim Wild, but he was talking to Jase and I couldn't get his attention, and when I went to take a pic of Dan, Tim goes 'Hey, what about me??!!' cause he'd seen that I'd taken pics of all the other guys, so he stuck his head in the side of Dan's pic. And that's about it. Oh, and I went back after the signing, when they were just packing up the amps and stuff, and I asked Tim Watson when their plane was leaving from the airport, and he said 'Uh, tomorrow'. More info?? 'About lunchtime. I think. I don't know'. And then he asked WHY I wanted to come and see them, and I said that they were a really good band (duh!) and he said 'Oh. You're not going to bring any friends are you? We just wanted to go out without anyone there.' And I thought he was being serious, and I was like 'What??', then he said 'I'm only joking!!!' *whew* I knew I should've asked Dan if I wanted a straight answer!
Third time was in October sometime, can't remember. It was in Trax in the city, in the downstairs section, and not many people turned up, about 30 or so, so that was pretty cool! Jase and Tim Watson looked like they'd had a pretty hard night, Jase had his sunglasses on the whole time, and was talking pretty slowly, and Tim just looked SO tired. At one point it looked like he was going to fall asleep on Jase's shoulder! Jase just laughed and patted his head and said 'There, there'. Even though there was hardly any people there, the Trax people were rushing people through a bit, so to conserve time (yeahright!) I took pictures of Tim and Dan, and Tim and Jase, instead of individual photos. I didn't have much film left in the camera anyway. I said to Tim and Dan "Can I get a picture of both you guys?" and they said 'Yeah of course' and Dan put his arm around Tim *awwwwww* and it turned out a really cool photo. All the photo's that I'm talking about, you can find them in my picture gallery.
I think that's pretty much it about Taxiride.

Other bands and artists that I like are:
Human Nature: I've met them heaps of times, and they're really nice guys.
The Whitlams: Their music is just so good! Especially No Aphrodisiac and Thank You. Tim Freedman is a legend!
Killing Heidi: Their stuff is really fresh sounding and really good.
Five: They're the boyband it's OK to like!
Alex Lloyd: I just recently got his CD, 'Black The Sun' and it is really, really good, especially Something Special and Lucky Star.
Matchbox 20: Rob Thomas' voice is fantastic, and their songwriting is great too.
Savage Garden: Their second album is a lot better than the first. The songs on 'Affirmation' are really good, when you look at the singing and the music, but all the songs are about the same thing!!!
Steps: Pure pop! What can I say, their music is fun!
98 Degrees: Out of all the boybands in the world, I'd have to say these guys are the best. Their voices and song content are so much better than most others.
Robbie Williams: He is fantastic in so many ways. Fantasic songwriter, fantasic singer, and a fantastic showman.
Wham!: So uncool, they're cool.

I have a pretty sport-orientated life, even thought I only play one sport! I play soccer for the Lynwood Saints, and I play number 11. I like to watch a lot of sport. In the AFL season, you can't get me away from the TV, cause I watch evey game that's on over the weekend! I am a mad West Coast supporter, but I also like Essendon, cause I think Kevin Sheedy is the best coach in the league, and they're a great club with a lot of history. I like soccer too and I support Leeds Utd in the Premier league, Glasgow Celtic in the Scottish league, and Perth Glory in the NSL. My favourite soccer player is Harry Kewell, he plays for Leeds and Australia, and I also like David Beckham (Man U), Michael Owen (Liverpool), Troy Halpin (Perth Glory) and Craig Deans (Carlton Utd). Craig Deans used to play for Glory, but then he moved, so now I only get to see him once a year when he comes to play against Glory! *sob* But most of his family is here in WA (I think) so I know he'll be coming back every now and again!
I also like horseracing. My uncle trains racehorses and has won three Perth Cups. One of my other uncles trains pacers and he lets me drive them sometimes, which is sooo much fun! He bought one of his horses off Bryan Cousins (Ben Cousins, West Coast Eagles, dad), so that horse gets called Cuzz now!

I think that's just about it.

If you read all of that you deserve a medal!!!!
