through the park drenched in night looking for a cave in the
mountain.
When
are we ever going to find this ridiculous cave? I am so tired I just want to
curl up and go to sleep…my legs are cramping…
Is
the princess wanting to give up? That’s a first.
You know nothing of being royalty, its not just some European fairy tale as those wretched stories lie. And how dare you accuse me of wanting to give up; I want to understand the Arcane Evolution as much as anyone of us!

maybe we should find a place to meditate a place away from the common areas of
the park and the routine routes of the Rising Arms patrol

were a bunch of smaller rock cliffs we can try getting into if we climb
alongside the trail; perhaps we should check one of those
out.

It is the only way that I may reconcile with my mother and father, getting their blessing is the most important thing to me, for without their blessing I have no honor no purpose, no history. So do not be surprised, by all means do not be surprised.

No, there’s something more than that Chris I think it is the same thing that is compelling me to go on this journey. It is as if my entire body is preparing for something, and knowing something great is upon us but not knowing exactly what it is sends tremors through my heart. I only wish you could feel the elation I am feeling; the way of Tao is calling to us all Christopher. We are needed.

Hello my dear seekers of the Arcane Evolution. As you can tell this is a remote cave in the base of the mountain.

Patience, the word means to suffer, it is from Latin, suffer more and you shall be indulged to all of your heart’s curiosities. I have brought you here my dear young ones to receive the essences of life.

What? So you mean they are hidden in this cave?

That is correct Derek. We are here because when I was here in this third tier existence I hid the seven essences in this very cave. It was when I was pregnant with you Sabrina; in fact it was one of my last deeds I carried out before leaving for the second tier.

Pamona, what are we to do now; we all sit and listen in anticipation patient as long as we can stand.

Very well, as you know from reading the book I have left to help guide you, the essences are located in bracelets, these bracelets once attached to your wrist will never come off. To make it clearer think of how a plant grows as a seedling. It first must spout and push its roots to gather a good foothold in the ground. These essences are alive let yourselves never forget that. A star is a living organism, it continues to live until it cannot sustain itself just as any other creature you know lives.

Are you saying that the essences are in fact like plants and their roots will sprout into our bodies to stop from being torn away?

If these stars are indeed feeding from their ‘hosts’ the average human life is only 80.2 years, and only 30 of those active if you will. How are we supposed to evolve the six billion lives on Earth, and the other nine billion that reside on Mars, its two moons and Earth’s own satellite?

You misunderstand me Christopher the essence feeds on itself, you are only what it will anchor itself to…or soil if you please your bodies are as fertile as any matter in the universe you are just giving the essence a place to live, and for that it shall grant you a great service, its own power.
Anthony
Void, Fire, Earth, Gravity, Water, Wind, and Time are the seven essences. Are you saying we will be capable of harnessing one of these?
Pamona
Yes and no, the essences go according to capability, just as with anything. You must first crawl before you can walk, and likewise before you may run. Your abilities at first will be few but as you master the hardest thing there is you prowess with the given essence will grow until the essence is no longer foreign but part of your own body. Get out your weapons.
