streets of Tokyo...further than anything that you know.

I am talking about your people Sabrina, the people of Xyle4. Your
destiny lies there.
There is no such place; and even if there were why would I want to
go there?

now, in your dreams, in your visions, in this vision.

Why in the hell would Pamona trail into my dreams? I haven't even
seen a picture of her since I was a kid. Maybe I can figure it all out; she
said she was connected to all the other visions. But why would she send me the
visions of people I had never met before?
Sabrina! Is everything all right?
Mom came to me in a dream tonight...she wanted me to get something
that she gave to you to give to me. A
book.
A book? You must mean that ratty old thing your mother spent her
free time reading backward and forward. It
is in my closet here.
She always told me to keep it close, because you would ask for it.

book was the sole survivor of an ancient
civilization.

Meanwhile in Osaka in the house of ANTHONY ITO AND DEREK CHEN
SHINTO the two lie asleep in
their respective bedrooms until Sabrina wakes them.

Yeah well plans change you know? Where's Anthony, I must tell you
guys what the hell is going on.
Here I am, what do you want? I was having a pretty good sleep until
you came banging.

I found out that the visions are coming from my mother. She died
when I was born, I never knew her but she
left this book with father for me to have.
What in the hell is it?
It's called the Arcane Evolution. At least that is what my mother
called it. I haven't had the chance to sit and
read it yet though.

It looks like papyrus but without that distinctive smell. I don't
even think it's from our planet. This thing is alien.
It is from a planet that was long ago forgotten. This is the only
record left of that planet, of those people.
Why did Pamona want you to have the book? If all it is, were a
history book it wouldn't make any sense to
make a big fuss about it. So open it, whatever is inside has to be
good.
Look, my mother with these side notes has translated the entire
book. This book is not just a history of Xyle4, it
is a history of the entire universe, including this planet.
Look here, it says that the power of stars is the greatest in the
universe. And here look at the sketches of these
eight bracelets with insignia.
So wait, this is a guide to become stronger using the powerful
energy of the universe?
Yes and no. It says that this power is not like traditional power;
it is for the Arcane Evolution...
What is the Arcane Evolution?
Well it says that the Arcane Evolution is the theory Humanoids
derived directly from gods, and the life force
that was stronger than gods separated us. So we're here in this
universe devolved forms of gods. The Evolution
is trying to get man to evolve back into gods.
So where do the bracelets with insignia come in?
They are concentrated parts of the life force, the seven elements.
Time, Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Gravity, &
the Void.
But what do they do?
The sketch suggests that each bracelet does its namesake. Water
controls water etc. I guess.
We'd better fire this on over to Chris and the others in the
morning. But right now we should sleep. Sleep out
here Sabrina, make yourself comfortable.

this to be a good adventure?

She never said that directly, but I think Kira’s right. All of the
evidence is pointing to us being the ones to go on
a journey of some sort away from our homes.

a part of me, and/or you for that matter is

If she really is dead he wants to connect to his own parents. He
always lives in a shroud afraid that he is not
living up to the standards his father would have wanted him to be.
If he can connect with his father and put to
rest his own internal meandering, he will owe you his life.
I never knew that he was so distraught about the death of his
parents like that. I just wish I could guarantee that
Pamona would be able to help him find what he most needs now.
