Description

Rust Remover B is a phosphoric acid based remover of all rust bleeds on painted surfaces and metal parts. It contains penetrating agents that make it rapid reacting. Forms a thin phosphate coating on treated steel parts improving the paint adhesion. As a non-chloride acid it can be used for cleaning of aluminium and stainless materials. A specialty use is restoring wood surfaces to original colour.

Removal of rust bleeds: Apply product with brush or sprayer in ca. 20% water solution on treated surfaces. Allow soaking time of 30-60 minutes and wash with water. Repeat if necessary. Make final flush with fresh water before painting.

In chemical stainless tank final treatment for white deposits removal, spray 1-5% water solution on the treated surfaces, follow with a Butterworth wash and final hand rinse with required water quality for coming cargo. More instruction in our tank cleaning manual.

Att.: As the product reacts with metals it must be used with caution on certain types of light alloys like siluminum and zink silicate coatings and galvanised surfaces. Make a limited trial treatment with mild max 5% solution before attempting any major treatment.
