Product description

Navikleen Strong is a very strong alkaline cleaner. Suitable for removal of vegetable, animal and synthetic or mixed oils, fats and greases. It can be used to remove petroleum-based oils and for boiling out of boilers after heavy fuel leaks, when combined with special solvents. It is non combustible, biodegradable and contains no petroleum solvents in any form. When used on old painted surfaces test the paint tolerance first on a small area.

Directions for use

HP cleaning :

0.5 - 2 % into the sprayed water

Steam cleaning :

0.5 % into wet steam

Manual methods :

5-10 % solution spread with brush or hand sprayer followed with HP rinse after 15-30 min soaking time. Brushing helps.

Foam cleaning :

30% solution in foam tank.

Tank cleaning :

1-2 % solution in direct injection mode. 3-5% solution in re-circulation mode. Treating time a minimum of 20 minutes or 1 tankcleaning cycle.

Boilers :

Pre commission boil out. Make a 3% solution. Boil for 4 hours, drain and rinse, In heavy fuel oil residue removal from boilers prepare a 10% solution and boil for 8 hours. Drain and rinse. Contact MTT for advice on possible solvent use,

Ultrasonic cleaning :

Prepare a 10% solution into the ultrasonic tank.

Use temperature 40-60C. Do not use with light metals or alloys. Never clean copper in the same solution where you clean other metals. You can clean aluminum with Navikleen Strong. For Aluminum cleaning maximum allowed strength is 3% and maximum contact time is 3 minutes, followed with fresh water rinse.

Use protective goggles or face mask, synthetic gloves, protective clothing and boots. Rinse all splashes immediately with plenty of cold or luke water. Remove contaminated clothing. In eye splashes rinse for at least 15 minutes with lids open and seek medical attention. Read our corresponding safety card for caustic alkaline cleaners before using the product.
