Typical uses are: Boil out of fresh water distillers, boiler descaling, cooling water system descaling as well as descaling of different heat exchangers and metal parts. In vessels it has a specific use in cleaning high temperature operated lube oil separator discs.

Water system cleaning: Dose the product into prearranged circulating system. Use 10-30% of the system volume, depending on the contamination to be removed. The product can be heated during circulation either with live steam or by heat exchanger. Boilers may never be fired when any acid is circulating or soaking.

Circulate or soak well mixed cleaning solution for 8-12 hours unless you have analytical means to determine the cleaning endpoint. If more cleaning is needed after inspecting, drop the old solution completely and replace it with new 5% solution and continue for additional 4 hours. Maximum allowed temperature for this product or its water solutions is 70C.

After the cleaning fill the cleaned system with fresh water and circulate for 2 hours. Dump the rinse solution and repeat it once more. Add your standard treatment chemical in the third filling. Adjust the pH to at least 8.5 before starting any water-bearing unit. For cleaning of boilers with higher operating pressure than 10 bar please request passivating procedure from us.

For manual surface cleaning use 25% solution applied with brush. Allow 15-30 minutes soaking time and follow with fresh water rinse. Repeat as found necessary.

Soak tank applications: Use 10-30% solution in water. Dip the parts for needed time and flush with fresh water.
