The Regular Dolls
The very first dolls produced were Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie and Apple Dumplin'. None of them had pets, except Apple Dumplin' who had Tea Time Turtle. All these dolls had flat hands. Later, Raspberry Tart, Orange Blossom, Apricot with Hopsalot, Lemon Meringue and a villain, the Purple Pieman. The rest of the gang followed, but this time all the dolls had curved hands and pets.
International Edition
The international edition dolls were part of the regular line of dolls, but they were also that last dolls to be added to this edition. All the of the international dolls came from a different country, and were dressed accordingly.
Party Pleasers
The Party Pleaser dolls were regular Strawberry Shortcake dolls, but dressed in fancy party dresses. All the Strawberryland pets had party hats or some sort of party favor. Two new friends were added to this line: Plum Puddin' with Elderberry Owl and Peach Blush with Melanie Belle.
Berrykins
The Berrykins were the last line of Strawberry Shortcake dolls made by Kenner. There were only six made, and they were dressed so beautifully. All the dolls had super long hair and came with a Berrykin friend instead of a pet. A new friend and helper was added to this line: Banana Twirl with Banana Berrykin and the Berry Princess.
Sweet Sleepers
These dolls were so cute! They came with open/close eyes, pajamas and a sleeping bag. The pets wore some sort of sleep wear, and their eyes were shut. The boxes to these dolls were slightly different, from the regular line of dolls; they were a lot bigger, the inside looked like a bedroom, and you could cut out the cello and use it as a playset.
Blow Kiss Dolls
These dolls were like baby dolls. They had vinyl faces, legs and arms, but with a soft body. When you sqeezed their tummies, they blew out a sweet smelling scent, thus the name "Blow Kiss". A new friend was added to this line: Baby Needs a Name.
Berry Babies
These dolls looked like a miniature version of the Blow Kiss dolls, except they didn't blow out air (they just smelled sweet), and their entire body was made of plastic. They came with a real working bottle, and tinkled in their diapers. No pets were included with this line.
Rag Dolls
The rag dolls were made entirely of cloth, but they were still scented! None of them came with pets, except for the babies: Apple Dumplin' and Apricot.
Vinyl Face Rag Dolls
I don't believe the vinyl face rag dolls sold for a very long time, as they were only displayed in the very first Strawberry Shortcake catalog. These dolls had cloth bodies, real hair and vinyl faces. They were also scented like their names.
Plush Pets
Custard and Pupcake were the first plush pets made, and with each year Kenner produced new stuffed pets. These soft furry animals smelled like their names, and came with a name tag.
