Recommended Book List
It's time to take a break and find some good books. If you've come
to this page, I welcome you to sit a bit and have a look at some of my
favorite authors. I am excited about becoming an Amazon Book Store

My first recommended author is Sharyn McCrumb. She is a best selling
author of many fine books. She is a born story teller; she tells stories
with humor, suspense, a bit of ghostly lore and history. If you like
Patricia Cornwell's forensic pathologist then you will enjoy Ms. McCrumb's
recurring character Elizabeth MacPherson in these 7 books: Lovely in Her
Bones; Highland Laddie Gone; Paying the Piper; The Windsor Knot; Missing
Susan; McPherson's Lament; and If I'd Killed Him When I Met Him.
I discovered Sharyn McCrumb when I picked up The Hangman's Beautiful
Daughter. It was different than anything I had read; there's much
history offered and absorbed along with some wonderful characters
and lots of folklore about the Appalachian region. It's hard to put this
book in any category. All I can say is that there's a bit of ghostly
stuff, a lot of suspense and some good friends to be made with the
area and the characters in this book who return in the following
titles: If Ever I Return, Pretty Peggy-O; She Walks These Hills; and
The Rosewood Casket.
I also have compiled a list of beadworking books that Amazon has available.
You can never have too many bead books; and most of these have at least
