From left to right above; Lock, Barrel, and Shock are Halloween's most famous trick-or-treaters, and trouble makers. They are Oogie Boogie's hench men and will caring out anyone of his orders. It is easy to discribe them as the delinquents of Halloween Town. Where they admire Jack as much as anyone in town, they would double cross him in a second to make Oogie Boogie pleased. Jack sent these three to kidnap Santa Clause in anyway they deemed fit. After debating whether to blow Santa up, lock him in a box, drown him, and pull a sneak attack on the old guy, they settled with a bag and a trick-or-treat routine.
After nabbing Santa, Jack tells the three-sum to make sure he's comfortable. No where better than Oogie Boogie's lair, right? They throw Santa, with some difficultly, down the shoot to Oogie's lair where the monster has his own ideas on what to do with Santa Clause.
