VISION
STATEMENT
This body shall be known as the
Liberty Baptist Church of Canton, Mississippi. The Holy Bible is the inspired
word of God and is the basic for any statement of faith. The church subscribes
to the doctrinal statement of the -n The Baptist Faith and Message “ as
adopted by the National Baptist Convention U.S.A. Inc. in 1927.
We
band together as one body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally
committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.
The
Liberty Baptist Church renews its commitment to the objectives previously agreed
upon by the congregation.
To
be a dynamic spiritual organism empowered by the Holy spirit to share Christ
with as many people as possibly in our church, community, and throughout the
world.
To
be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing the presence of God, recognizing His
people, and responding in obedience to His leadership.
To
experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.
To
teach believers the disciplines of
Christian growth for spiritual development.
To
be a church that ministers unselfishly to persons in the community and in the
world in Jesus name.
To encourage each believer to develop a Christ like character in daily living by emphasizing personal commitment
of
life personality, and possession to the
Lordship of Christ.
