Learn Your Times Tables!
It's very, very, very important to learn your times (multiplication) tables. If you don't learn them, it will affect you for the rest of your life, and I mean it. It's probably one of the most important things you'll have to memorize in your entire school career. Why? You will have to know your times tables for many things in math, not only multiplication. You need to know these for division, factoring, solving equations, and for much more. This is why you need to learn your times tables.
I learned my times tables when I was in the third grade. It doesn't matter when you learn them though; it matters that you know them. You can use flash cards, or just keep on reciting them, or do whatever you have to in order to learn them. My third grade teacher gave the class a packet with all the multiplication tables we needed to know, and one of my friends and I would quiz each other on them until we had them down pat. I'm working on making something similar to that, so if you want one, expect one in the near future.br>
Here is a multiplication table that goes from 1-10.

It is also pretty useful to know the 11 and 12 times tables.
11 x 1 = 11
11 x 2 = 22
11 x 3 = 33
11 x 4 = 44
11 x 5 = 55
11 x 6 = 66
11 x 7 = 77
11 x 8 = 88
11 x 9 = 99
11 x 10 = 110
11 x 11 = 121
11 x 12 = 132
12 x 1 = 12
12 x 2 = 24
12 x 3 = 36
12 x 4 = 48
12 x 5 = 60
12 x 6 = 72
12 x 7 = 84
12 x 8 = 96
12 x 9 = 108
12 x 10 = 120
12 x 11 = 132
12 x 12 = 144
