MS 407's southernmost terminus is on MS 12 southwest of McCool. MS 407 is part of an older routing of MS 12 between McCool and Weir.

Northern Terminus

State maintenance of MS 407 ends on the east end of McCool. THe road continues as Weir-McCool Rd.
