Kilometer Markers
ALDOT thought it was ahead of the times during the 1990's when it posted kilometer markers along Alabam highways. However, the km markers confused motorists. ALDOT cancelled the plan. Km markers that were removed for various reasons or simply stolen were not replaced. However there are some km markers left on Alabama's highways.
  • *NEW* AL 157, km 25 (Probably will be removed since the highway is being widened to 4 lanes.) (07.05.2002)
