LET GOD BE TRUE

Do you believe in the Bible? Then you believe that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" as quoted in II Timothy 3:16. Let God be True but every man a liar. If you believe in the Bible...
"Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen." (Romans 9:5) - You believe that Jesus is God, Let God be True.
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law". (I Corinthians 14:24) - You believe that a woman must be silent in church, Let God be True.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27) - You believe that Reincarnation is an extremely false belief, Let God be True.
"And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." (Luke 11:27-28) - You believe that Mary-worship is wrong, Let God be True.
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15) - You believe that to be saved, one must believe and REPENT, Let God be True.
You believe that hell is eternal because the Bible says so: "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;" (2 Thessalonians 1:9) and "Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. " (Matthew 18:8) Let God be True.
You believe in the Trinity. You
believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are three different
persons. "But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up
stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the
right hand of God" (Acts 7:55) but you believe that these
different persons are one God "For there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three
are one. " (I John 5:7) Let God be True.
If you believe this, Praise God and continue in the things you have learned from God's Word. If you don't, I exhort you to read and ponder on the Word to see if what you believe is true as told in Acts 17:11. Let God be True.
