REMOVE FROM THY PLACE I - BEING A TRUE DISCIPLE

"...thou shalt remove from thy place to another place..." (Ezekiel 12:3)

When someone decides to follow Christ, he or she must be willing to forsake all his or her material possesions to follow Christ. Consider Luke 14:28-30 "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish" You must be willing to leave all for Christ. You must not participate on the matters of the world to please God; Let's go to II Timothy 2:4 "No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier".

Some people say that they're "been born again" and are "Christian", but they live for the world. When a person receives Christ, that person has to remove himself from the world to another place called the Heavenly Realm. Phisically, he is in this world, but spiritually he's walking with Jesus.

How can one remove himself from the world if he love the world so much...? If a person is entangled with the "affairs of this life", he will not be used by God if he's already saved. Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are those that are washed by the cleansing Blood of Jesus and serve Him. Not every believer is a Disciple of Jesus Christ, read Luke 8:38-39 "Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee...", you can also read this in Mark 5:18-19. The Bible don't mention why Jesus sent him away, but my opinion is that he was not able to be a True Disciple of Jesus Christ (but he was saved anyway!).

When Christ redeems you, he changes you. Many people preach about a Jesus that can deliver me from hell, but I preach a Jesus that can unshackle me from the power of sin in my life ! Glory to God in the Highest. Christ delivers you from the power and guilt of sin, that means he cleanses you. Are you gratefully? Calculate first if you've got what it takes to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ (if you don't, and you want to, pray for it, the Lord will provide!), then do God's will found in the Holy Bible. How do you know you are a Disciple of Jesus Christ? The world hates you, you are no longer in the world.

Verses to consider,

"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. " (Luke 14:26)

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:11)

"He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 10:29)
