So, what exactly is Poduck Stables? Well, Poduck Stables is an online game. Officially, it's called a sim game. No, not the SIMs :) In the dictionary sim is defined as an artificial environment. Which is basically what this game is! This game is for children to interact, to learn responsibilities of taking care of horses, to have fun, and if they cannot have a real horse..they can take care of 'sim' horses here!
Poduck Stables is all about horses. Now, we know your first question is: IS THIS FREE?! Yes, it is! Accept, you do have to pay money to take care of your horses, or do extra things. But it's FAKE money! Every member starts with $$20,000$$ "Poduck Dollars" and 2 free horses.
To take care of your horses, every month, a member has to go to the "vet, farrier, and feed room" to vet, feed, and shod their horse(s). They can pre-care there horses so they don't have to care for their horse(s) every month, and do what was explained above (about vetting, shoding, and feeding). Check Q&A for more. The tack shop is obviously to buy tack! You need tack to ride, and to show!
One feature we have are shows. This is where you can enter your horse(s) to earn points. Higher points means your horse's price value is better. Your horse(s) could possibly win Horse of The Week. This feature recognizes horses and ponies that are acceptional in Poduck Stables! Poduck Stables has multiple ways of a member gaining more horses. You can breed your horse to have a foal Check the Studbook , you can buy horses from Horses For Sale , and last, you can also get horses from the Humane Society. The Humane Society is where all the horses go that are not taking care of, or where horses go when members quit. A bank is one of our many features that are new! This allows members to get a loan (if in debt), send checks to people (this has to be done to: sell your horse, breed your horse, or if you want to give it to another member), or ask for your money balance. Unlike many other sim games, you have an option to quit. Instead of the employees getting mad and constantly emailing a member who does not take care of their horses (because they don't want to play anymore)..the member can QUIT, and make the employees' jobs a lot easier!
