Jumper
The below instructions may seem difficult to follow. If so, please email us with any questions you may have.
Showing: To show a horse of yours, you must first find a picture of your horse jumping. To find the picture, you may go anywhere on the internet, we suggest www.equine.com. Read the rules below to learn more.
Rules (Section One, Pictures):
1. The horse in the picture of your horse jumping must have the same facial markings as your horse, within reason.
2. The horse in the picture must be doing: Jumping
3. The rider's position, the saddle, the saddle pad, or the bridle do not play a part in the judgement of a horse.
4. The horse in the picture must be the same color as your horse. If your horse is chesnut, the horse in the picture must be chesnut. Try to be accurate in the lightness or darkness of the color, though this will not play a part in the judgement of the horse. Paint or Pinto Horses do not have to have the exact same markings. This includes Paint(Overo), Paint(Tovero) and Paint(Tobiano). Not Paint(Solid). The colors must be the same, yet facial markings are excluded from the judgement of a paint or pinto horse. Horses that have one spot from being paint or pinto must follow by the rules of a regular horse (facial markings included).
5. If your horse has at least one sock, the horse in the picture must also have at least one sock. This means if your horse has three socks, that the horse in the picture may have one, two, three or four. If your horse has no socks, the horse should have no socks.
6. Flea-bitten, Dapple, and plain grays have to be Flea-bitten, Dapple or plain, respectively.
7. The picture must be a side or front view of the horse. No pictures of rear ends.
8. The same picture can be used as many times as wanted in different competitions, but may not be used twice in the same competition. Therefore, a horse may not be entered more than once in a competition.
9. There must be a rider on the horse's back in the picture.
Rules (Section Two, Horse):
Any breed is allowed to show in the Jumper shows with no exceptions.
1. Horses must be twelve or younger to compete in the Dressage shows. They cannot be younger than three either.
2. Horses must be up to date on feed, shoes, and vet.
3. The horse may not have any health problems what-so-ever to enter the show. Any lame, sick, or injured horse will be disqualified from the event. Pregnant horses may not be showed.
4. Ten dollars must be sacraficed to enter the show.
5. The owner of the show must have: Riding boots, saddle, saddle pad, bridle, and show uniform.
6. Horses must have a show name. If your horse does not yet have one, go back to the showing page and click on the link to give one to your horse.
