These are some of the causes that I feel passionately about.
Having a daughter with juvenile diabetes, my family prays for a cure everyday.
Our prayers are also with the foundations that are working so hard to find a cure and to finally eradicate diabetes.
The other causes I have listed here are also very dear to me.
There are many good causes....one could not list them all.
I hope the links I have provided will be of some value to you.
The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
The mission of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is to find a cure for diabetes and it's complications through the support of research.
Only through research can a cure be achieved for this devastating disease.
JDF now provides more funds to diabetes than any other non-profit, non-governmental health agency in the world.
The Islet Foundation....A Final Push in the Cure for Diabetes
The Islet Foundation is a nonprofit charitable foundation
staffed by unpaid volunteers, collaborating with some of the world's leading
medical researchers in the field of diabetes.
TIF is dedicated to supporting the final push for that research effort,
a push that may provide a safe and viable cure for insulin dependent diabetics.
Ronald McDonald House provides comfort and care to children
and their families in a time of need. They are a home-away-from-home
for the families of seriously ill children receiving medical care at
nearby hospitals. The Ronald McDonald Houses are supported
by thousands of volunteers who donate one million hours of their time annually.
The people that work at RMHC are angels....
My family knows this first hand.

Children are our most precious gifts from God.
There are children abused everyday through many forms of abuse.
This is a terrible thing that people do like to talk about, but the fact is it exist.
Through awareness and education maybe the vicious cycle will end.

The risk of being abused, neglected or exploited is real for many older people.
Family members or other caregivers are most often the abusers.
This despicable act crosses all geographic, socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic barriers.
