Then we went shopping on State Street all afternoon where they have a lot of cool clothing.

We also had ice cream at Chocolate Coyote which was good.

We went to dinner at Stillwaters and the waitress was pretty bad...

That night some of us went swimming again in the hotel pool, while Danielle, Lauren and I got dressed to go out and see what was going on in downtown Madison...

As it turned out, quite a lot was going on...

We listened to some drumming on the street, checked out the Madison student union, and on the way back ran into a couple of interesting characters -

We just love getting hit on by strange pot smoking guys...

So then the expedition began -- we knocked on Jenny, Lindsey, Kalene and Megan's door and ran away. We didnt answer their calls or knocks and then decided to trick them by putting on our jackets and purses to look as if we had just gotten back.

We closed our door very quietly and then ran to the other end of the hallway to go around the corner.

Luckily, after a couple moments panic, we found the stairwell door and went down to the floor below so that we could come up in the elevator and surprise our friends, who by this time we're paying any attention at all.

There were three floors on the top of the hotel that the elevator wouldnt stop on without a key. We tried to get up there from the stairwell which wouldn't work either, so we looked under the crack in the door. Finally the next morning Lauren and Danielle followed somebody up there...

Now I'm going up to the 10th floor to read. They've got a couch up there.

Then we stayed up until 4:30 talking, first on the 10th floor, then, after we got kicked out -
