What is "L-Town Thunda"?
We’re so glad you asked!! L-Town Thunda has nothing to do with rain storms or weather at all! "L-Town Thunda" (perhaps related to "bringing the heat") is a phrase coined by Robert and Randall describing their approach to their youth ministry work. L-Town Thunda means doing whatever it takes to get the message across, even if it means stepping on toes to do it! At the same time, though, it means doing it with sincerity and honesty. It is their belief that if the only way to get a message across requires being cheesy and corny, then so be it! The Director of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Mike Patin, has been known to say that you don’t have to do things in a pretty fashion; you just have to be loud! This is something Robert and Randall have certainly taken to heart in their work, and a message that they never plan to forget!
