WITH THE SYNDICATE: Is a powerful figure
in it. Sometimes he has disagreed with them, only to share his views of
what the outcome of a wrong descision would be and offers a better suggestion.

WITH THE PROJECT IN TUNGUSTA:
He seems to be head of a research project
dealing with an eXtraterrestrial life form found in rock in Tunguska, Russia,
which has since ended because of the intervention by Krycekand Mulder.
He and Scully first met at Bill Mulder's
funeral. It is there that he warns her of a possible wrong-doing that will
get her killed. Then she and Mulder meets him again, in Victor Klemper's
greenhouse where he gives them a few answers to their questions about the
"Operation Paper Clip Project". Then in The X-Files: Fight The Future Movie,
WMM tells Mulder where Scully is and about the cure for it, the vaccine.
NAME HISTORY:
The name "Well-Manicured Man" was given by
the writers.
