Ususally The X-Files tagline at the beginning of the show is the infamous, "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE".Rarely it changes, but when it does, it usually is a hint to that particular episode. These are all the different taglines that we have seen over the past 6 great years of The X-Files. At the bottom, are the beginning of crossovers that the X-Files did.

04x04  Teliko "DECEIVE, INVEIGLE, OBFUSCATE"  The characters said this throughout Teliko over and over. 
04x10 Terma  "E PUR SE MOUVE"   1.Galileo said this under his breath when saying that the world moved and turned, and that it wasn't the sun that rose. 
2. Translation:  "BUT IT DOES MOVE"
04x24  Gethsamane  "BELIEVE THE LIE"  Scully said this about Mulder's belief in the biggest of all lies.
05x02  Redux "ALL LIES LEAD TO THE TRUTH"  Scully said this to Skinner. 
05x14  The Red and the Black "RESIST OR SERVE"  1. Krycek says this to Mulder. 
2.It's about colonization and the resistence, you can resist or you can serve.
05x20 The End "THE END"  The actual title of the episode. This is the very first time they ever done it.
06x03 Triangle "DIE WAHRHEIT IST IRGENDWO DA DRAUSSEN"   German translation: "The Truth Is Some- where Out There" 
06x19  The Unnatural "IN THE BIG INNING"  The episode deals with baseball.
 
 
 

The Simpsons did a funny crossover with the X-Files. And here's the beginning of it.
 
 
 
 
The t.v. series, "Mad TV", which also airs on FOX on Saturday nights at 11:00p.m., did their own version of the X-Files, called "The XXX Files" on 2/9/96. They had their own type of tagline. The pic below shows the tagline that they had.
