Songwriter's
Notes: "On a serious note, when I first and a few times after, heard
this song, it was really heartbreaking and actually made me cry, not a
tear, but a real cry. The original lyrics to the song is very touching
and if it's from a real eXperience, I deeply sympathize. Pearl Jam is a
great job of writing the eXperience, because I'm speech-less just thinking
about the original lyrics of this song. But I guess it is songs like these,
that helps us to move on and remind us the true purpose of music. Anyways,
this parody is on a much lighter note and is about Samantha's abduction
and the after-effects of it on Mulder."
* "She's Gone" *
CHORUS:
Where, oh where,
can my sister be?,
The light took
her away from me
They took her
somewhere, somewhere awaaay from me
So I won't stop
and am determiiined to get heeer, baaack in my arms
We were plaaaying
a game,
that was called
Statego
While we were
watching a t.v. show
She wanted to
watch, a movie that night
But I wanted
to watch, the Ma-gi-cian
Then suddenly,
the lights went out
I'll never forget
her voice that night
She screamed
my name, over and over
Called me for
help, but I stayed shocked
*REPEAT CHORUS*
When I realized,
what had just happened
I couldn't believe,
what was wrong with me?
Why didn't I
pull the gun's trig-ger
How did I let
my sister, go that night
I tried regression.
Memory is all I have,
Guilty's all
I feel. When I find her
I'd hold her
close, never want-ing to let go
I'd feel the
emptyness, within me close
But now, she's
gone, and I feel so incomplete
I lost my sis,
my liiife, that night
*REPEAT CHORUS*
Oooh, Ooooh,
Oooooh, Ooooh,
Oh, Ooooh, Oh,
Ooooh, Oh, Ooooh, Oh, Oh
