Ultimate Betrayal

After all we've seen 
and all we've survived
he's ditched me 
for the last time.

This time he's not
coming back.

Does everything I've said and 
done not mean a single 
thing?

Why?
Why would he do this;
leaving me all alone?

No, he didn't 
run off to some 
strange land.

This time, he 
ran off to a place
no living man
will ever visit.

With a gun,
he has committed 
the ultimate
act of betrayal.

Dead by his own
hand, he
has left me to

once again.

But I can't go on.
