Misunderstood

She walks through the halls.
Heads turn
fingers point
and rumors flow.

She's weird
they say
She won't last
they claim

Inside she's torn
Tugged here, pulled there.
Now a days she doesn't care
about the whispers and names.

She just puts up with it
because in reality,
she's not weird
she's just alone,
all alone and misunderstood.
