The Moon generally spends one to two days in each of the Astrological signs of the zodiac. The sign the moon is transiting through can be taken into consideration when constructing a spell.
A Moon in Aries - Good for spells related to the start of new projects, especially if they are financially oriented. Also a good time for strength, courage, and lust spells. Not a good time for divination.
B Moon in Taurus - Spells worked in Taurus take the longest to manifest, but tend to be stable and long lasting. This transit is conducive to spell work for love, creativity, and inner peace.
C Moon in Gemini -Good for spells dealing with communication, healing, and discovering who is working against your agenda. However, the moon in Gemini can be unpredictable and fickle.
D Moon in Cancer - Excellent transit for working any spell involving fertility, children, the home or divination.
E Moon in Leo - Spells dealing with leadership, prosperity, celebrity, and employment are conducive to this transit. Leo is a "barren" sign not conducive to anything having to do with the emotions
F Moon in Virgo - Use this transit when you need to be meticulous about detail, or for spells regarding education, healing, and stability.
G Moon in Libra - Libra is the sign of balance, and is excellent for couple's magick, romance, peace, partnership and fairness.
H Moon in Scorpio - The ideal time for sex magick and any spells having to do with unraveling the mysteries of the occult, divination, and ritual.
I Moon in Sagittarius - This is the transit to use if you are experimenting with a new spell or new technique of magick, or health issues. Not conducive to psychic work.
J Moon in Capricorn - Perfect for spells involving stability or manifestation of necessary material items.
K Moon in Aquarius - Best for working spells on behalf of others. This is a tricky transit to work with; misused, it can promulgate selfishness instead of a higher-consciousness connection with others.
L Moon in Pisces - Ideal for psychic and divination work, past life regression, and communicating with spirits.
