HOWEVER! ...hidden away in an obscure outpost of the station are the gloomy confines of WATERLOO EAST, hiding a further 6 platforms that deliver services out to the south-east, driving through the beauty of Kent, thrusting onto the coastal towns, including the Port of Dover! Yo ho ho!

EUROSTAR! ...an extra 5 platforms harbour 'Eurostar' trains, these being the services serving the channel tunnel, providing, for instance, a direct train, Waterloo to Paris, taking 3 hours! Mon Dieu!
