Spend all your time waiting
I need some distraction
In the arms of the Angel
So tired of the straight line,
In the arms of the Angel
You're in the arms of the Angel
~S. McLachlan
ANGEL
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay.
There's always some reason
To feel "not good enough"
And it's hard at the end of the day.
Oh, a beautiful release
Memories seep through my veins;
They may be empty, oh
And weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight.
Fly away, from here
From this dark, cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear.
You are born from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie --
You're in the arms of the Angel,
May you find some comfort here.
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves
At your back.
Storm keeps on twistin'
Keep on bulding the lies
That you make up for all that you
lack.
Don't make no difference,
Escape one last time,
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness,
Oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees.
Fly away from here --
From this dark cold hotel room,
And the endlessness that you fear.
You were born from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the Angel
May you find some comfort here.
May you find some comfort here.
Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lady--
DragonHawk, of the Magickal Cauldron, has asked me to write a ritual for the purpose of focusing a World Wide Cone of Power to protect the Children of the World from the ongoing problems of war, hunger, poverty, disease and abuse.
We hope to raise a Global Web of Cones, surrounding every living child, even those still in the womb. Children are our essence, our future, our dreams made manifest. In them lies the fate of Gaia, and of us all.
This is for the Kids, Everyone!
*At Midnight EST on Saturday night, May 29 begin your rituals. Please remember -- if you are working with simultaneous energies, The Cone must be released before the Moon reaches her Zenith at 1:40 am EST Sunday, just 1 hour and 40 minutes past the Witching Hour.
This is very significant, as it gives us a powerful window of opportunity to work with the many energies which I will now describe. They come from the Northern Path, in honor of Frigg's Day on Sunday.
FRIGG'S DAY:
------------------
Sunday the 30th is Frigg's Day (Odinist
Trad). Frigg is the Sky-Mother who
dwells in her cloud-wrapped hall. She
uses her spindle made of Yew-wood to
weave the destinies of the gods. Frigg
is Odin's wife and the mother of Baldur
the Beautiful.
Since Baldur normally rules Sunday, their combined power (Mother/Lover and Son/Lover) is a perfect manifestation of divinity through rebirth (children). Also, Baldur rules over the perfection of the reborn world which we need to visualize for the Children this Full Moon. He rules transformation; the Dawn and blossoming. This Full Moon, May 29, is the Flower Moon, the Moon of Blossoming.
Moreover, Baldur's mother Frigg is the Deity of the rune Eoh, the Yew bow, a rune of endurance, attunement, the Hunter's rune, achieving true aims (which aligns beautifully with the Sagittarius Moon).
"Wood from the Yew is tough and elastic, used in the longbows in medieval times. This bow is full of magickal tension (potential energy), and possesses the force of the swift-flying shot."
"Yew (Eoh rune) shows the endurance of the hunter on the trail and the sureness of his aim. This archtypal hunter [can be seen as] the Green man, Herne, Kernunnos, and the Lord of the Hunt. [The feminine aspect would be Artemis or Diana or Aradia]."
"[Thus,] the Eoh rune is a hunter rune
for stalking and attaining an objective,
and faciliates the ability to survive.
Eoh is also a potent magickal protector
[giving strength when facing a
challenging task -- the backbone of
courage.]"
-- S. Ravenwolf
The Yew tree, yew wood, the yew bow -- all symbolize resilience and the spirit of survival; indeed, the deathless spirit of the cosmos, which no human can tear asunder. This is the World Tree, the Tree of Yggdrasil, whose energies stand beyond the events of life and death.
The totem of Eoh is the Spider, corresponding to a web-weaving effort, and the spinning of destiny and relates to the folk remedies of using spider webs to staunch the flow of blood (the Life Force).
Since this month's Full Moon is in Sagittarius, I have constructed this ritual to utilize the Zodiacal powers of the Archer to take close aim, then focus and direct the energy we seek to manifest.
Many of you may recall that during the January 15 Dark Moon Ritual, we worked with the Fiery powers of Sagittarius to bring justice for the murdered mustangs even as we prayed for their souls to pass to the Summerlands. Before the Moon had become full, the murderers were caught. Thanks be to the God/dess!
Visualize a cone of power in your
ritual, erupting up and out of you,
spilling like a fountain into the stars
high above your head. Those stars are
ignited by your love; your heart-fire
burns alive in the dark deep night.
Spreading and blazing, that love and
energy moves across the curved surface
of our Gaia-Mother, healing the broken
hearts, bodies and spirits of the Little
Ones. But your love is boundless, it is
filling them. It takes away their wants,
their cares. You are giving them the
Life Force you hold in your own WILL.
It is through you that the Goddess
heals. Know this to be true. Push it out
high and far and believe it IS true.
Release your cone before the hour of
1:20 am. EST.
It is done. So Mote it Be.
*NOTE:
With Perfect love and Perfect Trust,
they will accept your Gift, and then
continue to perform the "handing of
light across the time zones to the
Western Sky."
It is done.
VISUALIZATION
--------------
For those who will be working in their
OWN time zones at Midnight --
Visualize your Starfire Cones cascading
across the World to your Sisters and
Brothers in the Craft.
