My Bobby Sherman Scrapbook

I am so excited about the Bobby Sherman, Davy Jones and Peter Noone, Teen Idol Tour. I saw it in Baltimore on 6/21/98 and the Nissan Pavilion in Virginia on 7/25/98. We also went to Lancaster, PA on 9/5/98, and Mount Pocono on 9/6/98. We plan to go to Clearwater, Florida too. I will post my favorite photos from the tour on my website for you to enjoy.

I am so honored to have Bobby's own sister, Darlene, be the first one to sign my Guestbook. I would love have you sign it too. My Guestbook can be found on my Meck Adventure Home Page. I hope you like the pictures, but please do not reproduce them without permission.

I KISSED BOBBY SHERMAN!

I am so totally freaked out! I attended the Meet and Greet at Nissan Pavilion in Manassas, Virginia on Saturday, July 25th, 1998 at 7:45pm. It was so unbelievably fantastic. We all gathered around the VIP area. It was an outdoor deck area surrounded by concrete walls on 3 sides and a building on the back wall, really private except for the 35 other people there! There were the fan club members, radio contest winners, DJ's, and a group of OR nurses from a hospital there too. We were close to the end of the receiving line.

Bobby came in and began down the line posing for pictures, shaking hands and signing autographs with everybody. God he looked great! Then it was our turn.

I shook his hand and said "I've waited so long for this". He said "I know", and smiled. He signed the 8x10 copy of my favorite photo I took of him in Baltimore. Then I gave him my Album Cover of his first Album "Bobby Sherman" to sign and said "I've had this forever". He joked "And I've seen it forever". Everyone laughed. He signed it and I said "Thank you".

He put his arm around my shoulder and I put my left arm around his back and my right arm around the front of his waist hugging him, I put my head snugly on his chest and just breathed in his Polo. Then after my sister took the picture I let go. But then my sister said "Do you mind if I get one more"? And he said "Sure". So I got to do it all again, this time I confidently buried my head a little deeper into his chest. OH GOD.

After she took that shot. I said "Thank You" again and put my hands on his shoulders and leaned in and kissed him on the side of his neck right about where the collar bone starts. OH MY GOD. It was so soft and warm and I could almost taste that Polo Cologne.

Then it was my sister's turn. She shook his hand, I took her picture with him twice too. He signed her picture from the Baltimore show, we waited till he met the last two people and went back inside.

I thought I was going to die. I was speechless, all I could do was say Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow. He is soooo nice. He is soooo cute. I could hardly walk to my seat, but when I did I realized that seat A13 is THE actual front row center seat. The center crack in the concrete went right under my chair! The microphone was exactly in front of me. OH WHAT A NIGHT!

Everyone around me knew I had just met Bobby by just looking at me, they could see the backstage pass and the gleam in my eyes. Everyone wanted to know how he looked and smelled and I was so excited.

I got the second point Bobby gave from the stage. He looked right at me, gave me a smile of recognition and pointed right to me. I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCH! He smiled and looked knowingly at me several times during the show. I tossed him a bouquet of sunflowers with a long stringing yellow bow and he caught it perfectly. I had attached a personal note to the flowers too. Did you notice that he caught every single bouquet that he was thrown that night? I am still excited beyond words.

After Bobby's performance all the people around me started giving me their names and addresses and saying they wanted to buy copies of my photos. I gave them all my website address and my email address so we could keep in touch.

Peter recognized us from Baltimore too. I told you he kept staring at me. He gave us a special smile and wink and posed several times for me when I held up my camera. He is so charming and sweet.

Davy looked right at us a few times too. His white suit should photograph better than the black one he wore in Baltimore. I think he did more Monkees tunes this time. Also he didn't do as much skipping and jumping and twirling around. Diane said she read where his knees are giving him problems. I can sympathize with that, my knee is killing me, but when I had my arms around Bobby I was feeling no pain. It was like "Sitting in Heaven by God". That was an old expression of my Grandmother's. Now I know what she meant all those years. It was absolutely spiritual.

But we had one disappointment, it seems that Diane was so nervous that she didn't focus the camera properly when she took my pictures with Bobby. Both the pictures were blurred. You can tell it's me and Bobby, but they're out of focus! I am heartbroken. My sister actually cried when she saw them, she is so upset over it. I remember that Linda Brubaker was going to take my picture and possibly Carrie Deiner or Sue Balinger took some. I just hope someone got a clear photo to document the most important event in my life. Even so, I will NEVER forget it. This was such a thrill.

Please let me know if you hear of any pictures of Bobby and me. It would make my sister feel so much better. But I am so happy, nothing could top this. I can die happy now.
