A Collection of my Favorite Poetry

There are so, so many poems I adore and it was a hard choice narrowing it down. These few here are really just skimming the surface so I'll probably be putting up some more in time. Do check back.

My absolute favorite poem ever is Remember by Christina Rossetti. In fact, I'm fond of all her poetry. This particular poem though is one I would want my friends to "remember" - especially the last two lines.

I also chose the next poem for the moral behind it - read it and you'll understand why :-)

There are also two poems by Lord Byron. I think he must have met a living goddess which inspired him to write She Walks In Beauty...whoever he wrote it about must have been one awesome lady!

The Saddest Poem is just that...perhaps not the saddest but way sad at least.

Remember - Christina Rossetti
The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost
When We Two Parted - Lord Byron
She Walks In Beauty - Lord Byron
When I Heard at the Close of the Day - Walt Whitman
Saddest Poem - Pablo Neruda
