He was one of Lord Buddha's greatest disciples. As on Buddhistic legends, he was so similar to the Lord that people always misidentified him as the enlightened one. With his whole-hearted respect to his great teacher, he magically transfered himself to be a big potbelly monk, wishing to be looked significantly different from the Lord. As on Thai people's belief, his big potbelly supposedly implies a depot for fortune and wealth.
