If I could have but one wish
That I knew would come true
Would I wish for jewels and riches?
'Til my life was through.

I could own a jet plane
And throughout this world just tour
Or maybe I would wish
For something a little more obscure.

A mansion with two dozen rooms
Upon a riverside estate
With Peacocks colorfully displaying
To attract their Peahen mates.

Or maybe I'd want diamonds
To wear from head to toe
Or emeralds or sapphire's
I really would not know.

But then when I hear
A little baby cry
I wonder what life it will have
In this word that's gone haywire.

With children being shot
if they go out onto the street
or others with hanging flesh
cause theres just not enough to eat.

Or maybe its the pigment
of their natural skin
or their chosen religion
that others call a sin.

With all the riches that there are
What good are they going to be
If we cannot guarantee a world
That will survive mankind's mentality.

So if I had one wish
That I knew would come true
It would have be for World Peace
And everlasting cultural unity.
